They/Them Are All of Us

  Being a person of a certain age, my daughter calls me a product of the fifties no matter that she is a generation off.  My formative years were the 70’s,  You know the 70’s: fresh off of the civil rights fight of the 60’s, women’s lib.  Hippies and psychedelics, vietnam war protests and free love (thanks to the pill) and Roe v. Wade.  The ERA was fought for and lost.  Women burned their bras, blacks grew their Afros and sported jerry curls and raised their fists in black power. The era of green peace and the wave of ecology.  Farm workers organized under Cesar Chavez for which most cities had named a street after. Gays rushed out of the closet in a flurry of anti discrimination legislation. I grew up in a time of radical change casting off oppression.  It was an exciting and heady time to be young. Trumpsters: What did you receive from 4 years of Trump

  Trumpsters: What did you receive from your "dear leader"?  It must have been something so compelling and enriching that you are happy to fight against democracy and the freedoms that our constitution provide (other than those that you have purposely chosen to reinterpret to fit your skewed sense of entitlement.) Was it a wall between us and those in need?  Well, as you know, that didn't happen.  It would never have happened if he didn't accomplish it when he said it would.  And he didn't. Was it hugging up on dictators?  Well, I guess you got that.  Every despot in the world loved Trump since Trump supported every horrific action taken by these leaders to protect their own corruption and free use of their country's "treasury".  Except the one that Trump fell in total and complete "love" with.  But Un left him in the lurch and continued popping bombs as a threat to the US, love letters be damned.  I know that you are expected to accept ...
